  • Powerful Bookshelf Hi-fi Speakers: Immerse yourself in music with our 3010i bookshelf speakers. The cabinet is 25% bigger than our previous models for larger scale sound and deeper bass. A 22mm decoupled high frequency driver with wide surround creates a wide even dispersion of stereo image.
  • Low Profile Terminals: Designed with recessed cut-outs to reduce cabinet noise, and featuring low profile binding posts with sockets deep enough for 4mm (0.16″) banana plugs, you can shelf mount or stand mount these speakers near a rear wall.
  • P2P Bracing: With internal bracing placed with computer aid, the structural integrity of the bookshelf speakers’ enclosures is greatly improved. This helps keep the enclosure extra quiet, enhancing the focus of the stereo image and giving the soundstage more accuracy.
  • Passive Speaker Specifications: Enclosure Type: 2-way Reflex, Bass Driver: 100mm (4″), Tweeter: 22mm (0.9″), Frequency Response: (+3 dB, -6 dB) 65 Hz – 30 kHz, Average Impedance: 6 Ohms, Minimum Impedance: 4 Ohms, Sensitivity: (2.83 V@1 m) 86dB, Power Input: 50-125W, Cross-over Frequency: 2.6kHz
  • What’s Included: 2 x 3010i Bookshelf Speakers (W150mm x H253mm x D252mm, Weight: 4.1kg), 2 x Foam Bungs, 2 x Speaker Grilles, 1 x User Manual, 1 x Pair Handling Gloves, 8 x Rubber Speaker Grips.

Nothing not to like about these well made, attractive looking and great sounding speakers. got them hooked up to small Marantz Melody X M-CR612 in the kitchen. Big improvement in sound compared to the old Mission M30s I was using. Clear sound, I have them close to the wall and the foam plugs work well to ensure base is contained, certainly present but not distorted. Would certainly recommend.

What these speakers lack in size they more than make up for in presence.
Always give a well defined sound stage with great separation and depth. Clean highs with real bass together with a lively mid-range. They are great all round competent speakers which sound good when delivering both digital or analogue inputs. They have re-kindled my love of vynil! Hard to beat for the modest outlay and fabulous value. I use these with my Onkyo a9010 amplifier, Rega Planar P1 turntable and Denon DCD 520ae CD player. Faultless and highly recommended.

Compared with their predecessors, the 3010, the 3010i initially sound a little flat and lacking in excitement. The forward, attacking sound of the 3010 has been softened, with Q Acoustics taming the punchy, in-your-face mids and highs in favour of a more refined, delicate balance.

The benefits soon begin to reveal themselves, however. Voices and instruments initially seem to lose a little clarity and presence, but swapping back and forth reveals the 3010 to sound nasal and congested compared to the new models. They now sound far more natural and full-bodied, with music looming larger and deeper between the speakers.

Orchestral music benefits hugely from the 3010i’s added scale and more refined tonal balance and, while both models are too small for truly earth shaking bass, the 3010i reach a couple of notes deeper than their predecessors. In my room, they only gave up completely once frequencies dropped below 35Hz, and there’s a surprising kick right down to around 50Hz. Crank them up, and it’s surprising how much bass these little speakers can put out.

The 3010i have their limits. There isn’t the depth or the detail, nor the ability to unpick dense layers of instrumentation that you’ll get from pricier bookshelf speakers, but the overall performance is out of this world for £150 In this featherweight category, the 3010i are highly impressive performers.

Good looking, well made and sound amazingly detailed for a small enclosure. I moved my hifi into a relatively small room and my floor standing Mission speakers were just too much for the room. I wasn’t expecting the 3010i to give the same detail, but they’re remarkably good. Particularly with instrumental jazz. Some vocal recordings sound a bit flat, but on the whole I’m very pleased with them. Putting them on the Q Acoustics stands and careful placement makes a world of difference.

Biught these speakers for a small office separate set up. Great build quality and aethetics. Sound is very detailed but for me could be a little more open. Deent soundstage but th speakers don’t quite breathe as much as I expected. However, overall very good value for money and will do the job nicely.
