  • 【The Visual】The Aurora Pro aims to deliver the best out-of-the-box (OOTB) color accuracy with minimal to no professional calibration needed. With four screen options, the projector has been calibrated to a state that can tolerate and account for the variations in projectors themselves, screens, room conditions, calibration tools, and more.
  • 【The Black Level】With ALPD 4.0 RGB+ technology, the Aurora Pro delivers a native contrast ratio of 3000:1. Our dynamic laser dimming technology pushes the black even further, enhancing black levels with minimal impact on color accuracy and other side effects. The dynamic black feature reduces the black level by more than 60% and provides over 30% energy savings, benefiting the environment without compromising your visual experience.
  • 【The Sound】Experience an immersive cinematic journey with built-in 60W stereo speakers, including two 15W woofers and two 15W tweeters. The Aurora Pro also supports Active 3D movies and features Dolby Atmos support for state-of-the-art surround sound, with eARC.
  • 【Dolby Vision】The Aurora Pro is the only UST projector on the market that features Dolby Vision (DV), a native contrast ratio of >3000:1, and dynamic laser dimming. These features elevate the DV rendering to the next level with our improved tone-mapping algorithm.
  • 【Lowest Latency】Enjoy ultra-smooth motion with reduced ghosting, thanks to responsive 120Hz MEMC. The Aurora Pro is one of the very few projectors supporting 4K@120Hz input. It has the lowest tested input lag of 12ms among all UST projectors currently on the market. Now, you can enjoy playing your favorite PC and console games on a massive screen without sacrificing motion quality.

This has never happened before! I review a lot of products on Amazon, and I like to think my reviews are helpful and accurate. But this is the first time that I don’t think my review will do justice to the item being reviewed!

I have tried and tested a good few projectors recently, from ultra low budget, to mid priced HD projectors, and now this spectacular 4K UHD laser projector from NexiGo.

I don’t even know where to start! This is a big unit. It comes in a big box, and weighs in with quite a heft! It’s beautifully packaged and presented, with everything you need to get started. There are even NexiGo tutorials on YouTube for fine tuning once you’re up and running.

Unfortunately, my own projector screen is not worthy of such a fine image, so a new one will be ordered very soon to do it justice. But seeing up was pretty straight forward and simple. The remote acts as an air mouse as well as the traditional functionality and works fairly well (some drift in the air mouse). Once connected to the WiFi, we’re off. The usual firmware update, followed by installing off my streaming apps. Note; Netflix was a bit troublesome, but it needs to be done using the air mouse to get running.

I’m not sure that the operating system is really that good compared with say Android tv, or other smart TV systems, but it’s okay. Once logged into Prime, then you can really put the 4K through it’s paces. It looks absolutely fantastic! I haven’t spent nearly enough time enjoying all it’s features but that image is great! It’s it as good as my high end LG Gallery tv? I’m not sure, but it’s pretty close.

The next on the list for trying is to get out connected to my home theater sound system and in a position to take full advantage of it. The native sound is clear and punchy enough for causal viewing, but for this to really shine, it needs a full surround system. And of course, I can’t wait to hook up my PS5 and have a crack at GTA, or Red Dead Redemption on a mind melting 150″ screen!!

That’s the best I can do. I told you my review wouldn’t do it justice. So all I can say is, I cannot recommend this projector highly enough!

I always try to write an honest and unbiased review of all the products I order. My reviews are only my opinion, of course, but I hope they help.

To be honest I have never had a projector due to the fact they always needed a dark room and ceiling mounting but this one is a game changer, It is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures but it does look smart and a lot smaller than a big tv, I have actually ended up swapping out my tv for this projector, First job was finding a decent screen and the best would be a ALR screen but they was over 1k so I ended up with a standard 100″ screen that can be bought for around £150, I can watch this perfectly fine with my curtains open or lamps on which I think is because of the technology built in this projector gone are the days of needing a dark room, Setup is simple and there is a video on there website covering all the setting which I would suggest to watch, The picture quality is awesome in 4k , The gaming mode was a little let down as for gaming mode you cannot use and screen reduction and keypoints to use it and I found the screen was just too big for gaming in full screen, so I leave it at the 60 FPS and it still looks awesome with my PS5, There is a size adjustment in setting so you can actually get it smaller than the 85″ which what I do unless watching a movie for that cinema experience, The inbuilt android app does work well with a ton of apps although it would have been nice to have BBC/CH5/ITVX etc but I just use my BT box for that or you could use a roko or firestick, The only 2 glitches I have found is if I put my PS5 into sleep mode the system shuts off and when I wake the PS5 there is no audio until I restart my PS5 ,The second is on plex when i finishing watching a tv episode from my plex server and go to the next episode it says unable to navigate so I go back and it works again ,Maybe these are just bugs and will be updated with a firmware update which BTW it did do automatically the first time I turned the projector on. Overall this is a great projector with awesome picture quality and sound and has made my 50″ TV redundant.

When you pay around £3k for a projector, it’s only right that you expect something exceptional, however for the NexiGo Pro, the word exceptional does not do it justice. This projector exceeded by expectations in every possible regard.

Set up – set up is incredibly painless, it takes longer to unbox than to set it up. Once you’ve plugged it in and selected a Wi-Fi for the box to connect to, it’s ready to go.

Sound – i’ve seen some people complain about the sound on here but I think those people are being a little fussy, the sound is more than good enough for general use. You may want to add a sound bar but personally pointless in my view

Picture quality – as soon as I turned it on and it begins the opening set up sequence, the quality is clear, the colours are exceptional and I couldn’t imagine something this high quality existing. It makes my HD home tv look pixelated in comparison. The only way you’re beating something of this quality is by buying an industrial cinema projector, nothing else comes close.

Screen size – this can be adjusted by how near or far you place it relative to the wall. I’ve personally not seen a need for a projector screen but I bought one anyway but it’s not been needed, it’s perfect on the wall as is.

    Downsides:
    – Some of the apps aren’t amazing on there, I couldn’t log into Netflix even after trying to re-download it and restart the projector. I would recommend a Firestick to get around this.
    – The eye protection mode is a good safety feature however some times if i’m just near the projector or something stationary in a corner blocks the light then the safety feature kicks in. Not the worst thing in the world, i’m just being as critical as possible
