A very slow phone, with an exaggerated battery consumption and not worth it except if you use it only for calls.
For me it works because I use it as a secondary phone to receive and make calls with a card from a country different from where I live.
If you want a smartphone, don’t buy it.

I’m not even pushing it far (messaging, banking and two shopping apps) and it’s unusable, constantly crashing or so slow it seems nothing is happening.
The display is horrible, almost unreadable with no viewing angle, harsh on the eyes and far too sluggish at responding to touch.
Call quality is just acceptable, but the lag means even picking up a call is a struggle. Sometimes, when battery is low, it fails to ring or receive text messages, with infuriating ‘loading’ messages just to see/open text messages!
Yes, it’s cheap, but this is really one area where it’s worth spending a little more. There’s a basic Samsung at ±£120 at the moment, and Motorola phones around that price bracket – avoid this (and the Alcatel/TCL brand as they’re clearly a joke) and go for those.

Purchased for a non tech friend who found it easy to use.
Good value for money.

Good for all ages. Internet works brilliant. Takes 2 sim cards, plus SD card. Good phone for a started, nice size screen too.

The phone responds very slowly when you start using it. Apps frequently crash, and the battery life is poor. The screen is poor quality, and the viewing angle is very shallow. I use it as an SMS gateway, which works adequately for my needs, but I would not use it as my primary phone.

I bought myself an Alcatel Volcano at the start of July, and you can find the review I wrote then. Again, I purchased this one from the Amazon Warehouse because the one I bought for myself was such great value. This one arrived with a genuine Alcatel charger and a few other features not included with mine. Again, the price was brilliant! My only criticism is the difficulty viewing the screen in sunny weather; on the basis I live in the UK, I don’t find it too much of a problem.

It’s a cheap android phone, but slow and clunky and the branded software is a painfully slow start up. But, for the money it works fine.

i bought this phone to replace a very crap pay as you go phone and to be honest its the best 60 quid iv spent this year. added a 128 gig sd card so lots of space in there and took all the tv go and prime vid apps i threw at it. screen size and quality is great. easy to set up and comes with some good built in apps. also camera is a massive improvement on the older alcatel phone i had. bought it with the recomended case and screen protector and looks fab.connects to 4g without a problem so its pretty quick. great little phone for the money. well impressed.
