Good sound, I am using these with a keyboard but they also work well for music from my phone. Impressed with the sound quality and build quality for the price. Comfortable to wear for long sessions. Stylish looking. Cord is long enough. A total bargain I think!

Like the way these fold down and take up so little room. We used them on a long haul trip to Australia. Reduced the around us noise so we were able to sleep

(N.B. I have been using headphones of all sorts since discovering my dad’s worn-out but very rugged ‘phones back from his time in the RAF.) These very attractive Sony “on-ear” ‘phones were delivered quickly and provide VERY good, detailed sound, especially for well under pounds – from records, CDs, proprietary music cassettes and my own “pre-Dolby” tapes of transportation made back in the 1960s/70s. The leads emerge direct from the base of the cups and could hence be a tad vulnerable to damage or pull-out, so I have deducted a star. The headband is not padded and may prove a tad uncomfortable to those of us with little or no “thatch”, but this is also a minor gripe and very easily fixed!

They look a little cheap and there is an obvious difference between these and higher value headphones, but was really surprised about how good these are. Purchased for use in online calls and they are really good. Comfortable, sound is good and they are compact.

The Sony is really a good headphone for daily use or long distance travel with public transport it’s very light and comfortable to use over hours middle tone didn’t really exist and bass is a bit dull not precise and crisp the Sony headphone will not suits someone who is a high fidelity expert or enthusiast

Looks nice, sound quality very good and for the price can’t fault these headphones… I like it!

I actually bought these for my mum to give my ageing dad as a present. I was nervous about the price-point, (mum’s budget) wondering whether the quality would be adequate. But they were well-received and said to be much improvement over his old pair.
It’s a straightforward pair of headphones, without features like active noise cancellation or bluetooth: which is all that’s needed for many purposes. Dad is listening mainly to voice recordings, and a little bit of music, and says they are perfect for his needs.

Obviously not top of the range but decent sound quality for the price. Comfortable fit.
