First off, I should state that the original item purchased came in a damaged box by Royal Mail with the power cord and base missing. Luckily Amazon arranged for the pick up and a replacement arrived the next day.
This kettle is great – it looks fantastic – I went for the black kettle to match my kitchen and the textured plastic design makes it look a bit special. It has a stainless steel drum and a smooth pouring action. It’s also super-quiet and fast… can barely hear it boil!
One point to note is that even though the drum is stainless steel, the spout is plastic. I don’t mind this, but others might.
If you’re thinking of a new kettle, would definitely recommend this one.

I tend to stick with Russell Hobbs as a brand for kettles as they have lasted a long time in the past for a tea fiend like me! This kettle is light weight and boils relatively quickly. It’s quieter than my last one (which I wore out!). I got the toaster to match and they look stylish together. I would recommend.

Feels a bit unsteady, but as soon as filled it works well. Was worried that the plastic will make it look a bit cheap, but it actually looks really nice. And it‘s quick! I would definitely recommend, good value for money

Good looking, reasonably quiet and quite fast. Economic as you can boil a single cup. Easy to fill if you can get the kettle under the tap (check height). Nice blue light inside the kettle when turned on as shown via the water level indicator behind the handle. The indicator could be easier to see, but inside the kettle are three fixed height markers which help a bit (once you establish the amount of water to reach each marker). Overall I was very pleased with the price and functionality of this kettle. I also got the toaster in the set.

Good for the price. Very light when empty and it has a handy flip top lid operated by a thumb button. It fits nicely on its charging mount and pours hot water very cleanly. Boils quickly (I’m a real stickler now for only boiling as much water as is needed, and it’s fast).
Quality kettle, good price. I like the honeycomb exterior design.

Loved the price, modern style, has a good capacity for the average family, no drips when pouring, I boiled it a couple of times prior to using in a brew and there was no after taste. Lights up blue when switched on. Small footprint on the counter.

Love the colour and look of this black kettle and the fact it lights up blue when switched on. It boils quickly and is easy to pour. Good quality at a fair price.
