Perfect picture, great for games and photo editing, watching movies. I was worrying that it might be to big for the desk use, but it’s perfect. No problems with dimming while editing photos in lightroom so I’m happy.

The media could not be loaded.

This monitor is a big disappointment.
The G-sync is broken causing the screen to blank out and causes excessive flickering.

Also the screen is not very bright making it difficult to see in Normally lit environments so you end up having to use the monitor in the dark which is really daft.
I have uploaded a video showing the flickering.
Such a shame this screen this screen has these issues as this monitor on paper ticks all the boxes but in reality it does not do what it says on the box.

Coming from a Acer predator x38s and before that a Samsung g9 240hz this monitor is beautiful. I cant believe after all these years of ultra wides since 2014 i have ended up back on a 16.9 ratio 27″ monitor!
This Oled isn’t the brightest of monitors which has not been a issue ( dark room), my issue is the matt finish on the screen .I have had this monitor for 2 months now at the price of £750-00 from Scan pc. This monitor isn’t a keeper.

    This monitor is fairly good.
After having an OLed monitor, the refresh took a bit of getting used to, but with a little tweaking, I managed to reduce this to a manageable level.
However, I do have a huge warning. Be prepared to have your order go missing!!
Amazon’s Weybridge Hub, has become a black hole, either things go missing, get destroyed or they’re late.
its getting so bad you’d be better off going elsewhere.

This was delivered Friday 22nd Oct 2023.
It had a 1cm circular shadow on the left hand side of the screen which was worrying. When I used the clean image within the menu of the monitor, it cleared itself completely. I am still running a Intel i7-4790K CPU 4.00 GHz (Not overlocked) with 16gig Corsair 2400hz Vengeance Pro memory and a Asus TUF RTX3070TI and this monitor is absolutely mind boggling. I run modern games in Ultra setting at full 3440×1440 and it is so immersive. Genuinely recommended. The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE – 45 Inch has a big thumbs up from me.

I really like the monitor, I know some dislike the dimming it does automatically after a while of inactivity (unsure if this can be turned off or not). This does not bother me and I use it all day everyday for work and then gaming in the evening.

It does need care as these type of screens can suffer from burn in, but again I just have the options enabled to reduce the risk, due to the near constant use but again they don’t bother me at all.

Screen looks great and being able to have high refresh rate is bliss (I was using a 4k led TV previously).

Pic attached as inputs were asked in questions.

Its extremely dim even at its brightest which makes it uncomfortable to look at, there is a weird gradient when looking at mostly gray backgrounds, a loud buzzing noise is constantly audible while the monitor is on.

On the positive side the saturated colors are great, 240hz feels smooth, black colors look truly black.

Oh boy did I research monitors before settling on this one. I must have watch every youtube video (so happy people review things) and I read every on line post I could find.

There are SOOOOO many monitors to pick from!

But… I purchased this LG (first time I’ve bought an LG) – this was after a very disappointing experience with Philips (failed monitor after 13 months – one month outside warrantee)

This LG is lovely, great size, perfect curve and a lovely colour on screen. Super clear text – all round a perfect combo for gaming and productivity. Very pleased – Let’s see if it lasts a good amount of time!
