The toaster is very easy to use and the timer setting is easy to operate. The crumb trays are easily accessible making it cleaning a fast process.
The toast is even, please see photographs.
Thicker items such as bagels, crumpets or burger rolls fit and are toasted well.
There is a cancel button so the toasting can be stopped at any time by a simple button press, however you are not able to slide the item being toasted up to check on progress during the toasting cycle.
Not so great for a standard sized British Slice of bread as the depth of the toaster means the top portion of bread is not actually being toasted, again see pictures to see results.

I thought this would be okay from the looks of it, it was compact and looked nice however it can’t fit a whole slice of bread in it, you have to keep turning it, I’ve been buying the small slices just so I can get it in. And my crumpets get stuck to the sides all the time. No way could you fit any thick bread in it.

This is a small toaster and if your planning or wanting to toast large bread, or plain bread – move on, this is not for you.
If however you are like me and eat smaller breads or crumpets, this little toaster is right up your street and does exactly what I needed.
As mentioned, it’s pretty small for a toaster which means it doesn’t take up much counter space, but it’s got all the main features you want in a good 4 slice toaster:
– You can set toasting time for each side separately
– You can stop each side separately
– It heats VERY quickly, pretty instant toasting action with this
– It has a reheat function which I personally never use
– Has the usual crumb catching trays at bottom and are nice and big gaps to prevent crumbs going everywhere.
One minor negative, you can’t raise the bread while cooking for a quick check, you need to push the stop bottom to finish it, feel this is a bit of a miss but once you know your toasting settings, you barely use it anyway.
All in all a good, small well priced no frills little toaster.

My initial love for the toaster has sadly faded. I am now presented with toast that is burnt on one side and white on the other, as in no heat as touched it at all.

What I love about this toaster is the extra wide slots – toasting crumpets is far easier now! It’s an even toast, no need to turn half way through and the settings are consistent.
It’s useful having two options as my partner prefers well done toast so we’re able to use the toaster at the same time but make both sides individual.
The build quality is great, what you’d expect on a high brand product.

It is a stylish and functional toaster, with retro looks and brushed stainless steel finish. I absolutely love it, from dials to how the toasts are made. However the other half is unconvinced, as he points out few issues: the toast slices do not ‘jump’ much when they are done, you need to fish them out from the slots and it can be sometimes problematic. I use a fork and manoeuvre to get the slices out. When you do a scone, well, it’s even more tricky, yet the scones are browned so nicely, as opposed to burnt by our previous toaster. The other issue is that you get 4 small size slots (small toast bread or half a bun/bagel will fit, but not a slice of bread for example). Does not have a rack over it so not really suitable for re-heating.
But overall it is a really good quality toaster that does brilliant job, does not burn, and looks stylish. Mixed opinions in our household though 🙂

Doesn’t take a full size slice of bread – you have to turn it half way through the process of you have an inch of untoasted bread

Lovely toaster, toasts bread evenly and is super easy to work with 6 different cooking levels. Good sized slats that have a centering mechanism that adjusts depending on the thickness of your bread. It also has reheat and cancel buttons which is handy. I like the stainless steel brush look which gives a premium feel to the toaster. Overall a great quality toaster!
