I was needing something to drive a couple of speakers and I have to say this is a good little D class amp.
You aren’t going to get 100w per channel, that’s marketing like other brands do but the volume is VERY loud and will easily fill a medium sized room.
Tried using some JBL one, Wharfedale 9.0 and some Tannoy’s – All sounded decent and haing bass, Mid & treble controls allows you to dial in the perfect sound for your room.
I actually liked the control knobs – They have tiny little notches as you turn them so you can feel if the knob moved.
Sounds as good as the bigger AV Receiver I used.

Lets start at the bit that matters – sound quality. I can’t find anything to complain about here. The output is clear and well balanced having treble, middle and bass adjustment – all of which work effectively and appear (to my ear), to adjust the ranges they’re designed for. Very nice to have some middle adjustment (or any adjustment at all for that matter), rather than the usual treble/bass.
The amp is quite compact, and the pots work smoothly and affect the sound output only in the way they’re designed to – no scratchy, cheap controls here. The three-way switch (off/RCA/Aux), also operates nicely and soundlessly.
I’ve switched to this from a cheap combined blutooth and amp device which, while decent for the money, is audibly inferior to this Aiyima power amp (for instance, the volume pot is pretty scratchy on the cheap and cheerful device).
Only thing to keep in mind is if, for instance, you connect your phone to the aux-in via the headphone-out (should you still have a phone that has a headphone socket), remember that you’ll need to turn the volume output down on the phone to avoid over-driving the amp. This goes for any device that you connect to the aux-in via a headphone socket and does not indicate a problem with the amplifier. Not an issue if you’re using the line-out of whatever your sound source is.
That’s it. The price is pretty good and the sound output is even better. Very happy with mine, to the extent that I just bought a blutooth receiver to use with it. Might be time to look at some new speakers too…
