Frequent SEO Questions
As JustifyDigital attend many seminars and as we regularly speak at such events as Adtech or the ExCel in London we get asked all sorts of Frequent SEO Questions.
We have composed a few questions that may help you understand SEO a little better.
Our Business has a PBN (Public Blog Network) of over 100 websites. What strategy would you use your keywords for the PBN to the main website?
Firstly having a PBN can be very tricky and it can cause complications. To have an effective PBN you must:
- Split the PBN into sections. I.e 5-10 websites at a time on different C-Class subnet Ip addresses.
- Use random CMS configurations.
- Don’t over link the PBN i.e linking to each other
If you don’t do this, it can be spotted as a Blackhat technique. Blackhat techniques can make your website being de-indexed and flagged by the search engines.
Secondly, the main “money” site should have 2 or 3 tiers of keywords. The first being the main set of keywords and then the less important keywords in other tiers. Once you have this research, put your main keywords on the top pages on the PBN being first pages. Other tier keywords should go into the inner pages of each site on the PBN.
Don’t spam the PBN, use a mixture of anchored texts and images, Think outside the box and use a tier linking system.
Is my Linkbuilding Strategy working?
Linkbuilding is a slow process. It can take weeks or even months to show a backlink in Google. It all depends on the website you have a backlink on, is the content regularly updated? It’s just when or the time the search engines like Google or Bing will index the backlink website.
If the website has a Higher DA (Domain Authority) then it can take hours or days to be indexed.
The Linkbuilding strategy again is a slow process. If you use a mix of Do follow and No follow links they will be identified.
It can take a good 6 months before you notice your website authority has increased or position changes for the keywords you have used as backlinks.
What Keyword Density would you recommend on a full-page article?
Use tiers for your keywords as mentioned above. Personally, I tend to use 3 or 4% keyword density and use LSI (latent semantic indexing) to randomise the keywords. Try not to over spam any article.

Do I need technical development knowledge to speed up my website?
You don’t need to be a developer to edit or speed up your website. BUT it would help if you had an understanding of PHP & CSS.
If you are using a CMS such as WordPress there are many plugins that can assist on your website speed such as WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache and AutoOptimise.
You will need server level for core updates such as upgrading PHP or for optimising databases.
