Was heading on a road trip with the kids and wanted to get them headphones to lessen the boredom. Reviews of this were good so I bought two pairs.

I have to say, the build quality is better than I expected at this price, as is the sound quality. The battery life was and is still brilliant. And most importantly, both were able to be used without any issues less than 1m apart.

Really great option for kids, I am very impressed

This blu-tooth headset looks impressive and is actually quite good, but given the attractive price point it comes with some excusable issues.

We ordered the pink-gold version of this headset for our 9-year old daughter. Upon arrival it looked much more solid and expensive than the price suggested. The headset is fairly comfortable to wear as it comes with soft ear-pads.

Obviously our daughter was delighted. Our main purpose to get her this set was to shield us from her repetitive Ipad noise during our frequent lengthy car trips abroad. Our wishes were only temporally fulfilled. It turns out she likes the set so much that she now wears it constantly, at home as well. Not only making it harder for us to get through to her. But, even worse, to treat us on relentless out of tune and way too loud vocal sessions when she sings along endlessly with Adele and the Greatest Showman. Absolutely horrifying!
But the headset it self if generally great.

The box includes the wireless headphone, a micro USB charging cable, a ‘tangle-free’ 1.5m audio cable bag, a brief manual and a bag into which the headset folds up quite neatly. So the set is easy to store or to bring along for travel.

The bluetooth range is supposed to be 10m which is a generous estimate, but the range is quite sufficient we found. Apparently when fully charged the headset can offer 8 hours playing time, I guess that is about right, though the durability of the batteries remains to be seen. Connecting it through bluetooth to another device is fairly easy. One drawback we instantly stumbled on is that, other than with higher-end models, the set can only be connected to one media playing device at the same time. So you’ll have to disconnect it from the Ipad bluetooth and then connect to your Iphone. This was something to learn for our daughter who wasn’t familiar with the IOS settings menu so it requires some modest digital skill.

A voice tells you what the headphones are doing. But actually operating the headset is a bit cumbersome; the row of buttons is confusing when you got the set on your head. And if you by accident hit the music/radio toggle button, which happens often, you will get loud radio wavelength noise. Also you’ll have to keep holding the volume buttons up or down to adjust the volume. But when playing music from an mini SD card a short click on these same button skips through the playlist.. We also have some trouble to turn the set off, though so far it has only ran out of battery once. We haven’t used the answer/hang-up call button, but the fact that it allows for hands-free calling is a plus.

The main snag is the average music quality, incomparable to dad’s premium high-end headset – yet, that cost him 15x more. Nevertheless, the weaker sound quality was expected, and reasonable, given the around £20 Zapig price tag. And I doubt our daughter will even notice. Sound quality is like politics; very subjective and very hard to argue upon. But in my view the bass sounds are ok, this might however have to do with the fact that the high tones come out in a somewhat muffled, muted manner.

Not sure about the durability of the overall headset, but at least it comes with a 12-month warranty which means something.

Overall quite pleased so far and given the price I would highly recommend it to parents.

Easy to use, good use time between charging and easy to wear for children. These are tough enough to withstand the usual treatment associated with two children. Sound is OK not high end but excellent for the price and user bracket.

Bought this to replace some wired headphones that broke quickly, from the offset I should have gone for bluetooth. The sound quality is good enough for the children, bluetooth range is at least 25m which is great. No noise cancellation for the user but for other family members it cancels the hours of kids music and vids. Great for use in a car.

We have two sets still going strong the only niggle I have is the switches on the side which control volume and input. They are very easy to press unintentionally.

    Overall great value.

Nice and compact, look great and hold charge. Sound is good, BUT, as they are marketed as kids the volume isn’t limited, so please check the volume yourself before heading over to your kids. Pairs well with Bluetooth so easy to set up, and you get a nice material travel cover. If the volume was limited then the review would be higher.

Bought these for my 9 year old son to use when using his tab at times. Sound quality is great, they feel sturdy and he loves the colour.

They can alter in size and seem to fit comfortably on both kids and adults.

The only negative is the buttons to turn on and off and the volume controls are close together find we have to take them off to alter it or we accidentally turn them off. Not a big problem. Overall good product. 👍

I bought two pairs of these for my boys (4 & 7 years old) when we went on holiday and for that purpose, they were perfect.

Bluetooth paired up to their iPads with no issues, good sound but don’t expect it to be fantastic. For the purpose of keeping a couple of youngsters entertained on the plane and at key points in the holiday they were perfect.

They do fold up, the battery life is really good and they boys are happy with them which is the main thing.

We had quite a few parents asking us about them on holiday, they’re cheap enough that if they were to break it’s not a big deal. The unfolding can be tricky for the young ones so probably best done by an adult.

Noise cancelling seems to work well, but my kids never listen to me even when they’ve not got these on so can’t really say for sure!

These headphones are very comfortable, they are extremely flexible so fit my head, my daughters head and also my partners head and didn’t feel tight at all. The sound quality is very good and we have found we can turn the volume much lower than previously because the quality is so much better. The instructions are very clear and informative, though my daughter is taking a little time to work it out (she is only young). The Bluetooth paired straight away with the iPad and the headphones tell you what they are doing which I quite liked. I also paired them with my android phone and my TVs and they had no problem connecting to any of these devices. We go through headphones a lot as the children snap them or stretch the wires, these zapig ones seem very robust and being wireless gives me one less worry. They charge via USB charger and we leave them overnight and they haven’t run out on us. If you are looking for good sound quality, easy set up and flexible headphones give these a try.
