We needed a new microwave after the previous one started making concerning noises. This one is average, quite simple but does the job. The user interface is easy to navigate, it took a little fiddling to set the clock but once done it was working well. I find cleaning this microwave not as easy as I hoped, especially the top part is hard to thoroughly clean which I think is due to the texture of the material used, it seems porous so any food splash or stain is firmly stuck there. The button to open the door is a little too loud for my linking and occasionally gets locked but the microwave is sufficiently functional for our needs

Basic microwave , does what it’s supposed to, nice looking not fancy, and easy to use

We’ve had a few microwaves over the years of various brands but this one has impressed straight away by being very efficient, our old one was the same power rating but never as good as this.
Didn’t particularly want one with preset menus and took a week of referring to the instructions to get used too but worth it as the results are better, especially the defrost.

This is the second time I have purchased this microwave. The first one I bought lasted for 4 years and then I started to notice that it had gone rusty on the ceiling and bits of rust etc was flaking off onto whatever I was microwaving. So it needed replacing although I have to say it still worked fine. On doing further research on this microwave and others I found out that this is a common problem. I was looking to buy a different model this time but after my research I decided that this microwave still suited me perfectly and I liked the controls etc. It’s easy to use, as all the features I need and is good value for the price. My only advice, which I am following now, is to ensure you wipe it down after every use to ensure it is dry and hopefully keeps the rust at bay.

While the actual microwave cooker is fine and does what it’s supposed to do the condensation it creates is ridiculous, I only reheated a mug of tea and it was like a Turkish bath inside when I opened the door.

First time I have bought a Sharp model for anything electric gand very pleased. Even though its one of the cheapest it has some handy features. The defrost settings actually work, there is a one press button that turns it on for one minute and the heating dinner plates button saves me using the oven to warm up the plates. Ignore the complaint about the amount of water generated Its because its more efficient Highly recommended
