It was straightforward to use from the moment we unpacked the oven. We tried baked potatoes in it and they were pretty good, we usually put them in a conventional oven, so they compared favourably. I like the safety mechanism, i.e. if more than 3 instructions given/buttons pressed, the oven will not work till reset again, which is pretty straightforward and a useful but we did have to search for this in the booklet as we initially could not work out why the oven would not work. But it made sense once we found the page with this info on. Nice oven, looks smart.

Small easy to use if, like me, you just want a straight forward push 1 or 2 buttons and not interested in all the fancy grills, defrost etc.

I wanted a full combination microwave but I’m short on space, so I went for this instead. It’s a good compromise, being small but with more functionality than a standard microwave. I thought I’d use the grill setting more, but you have to meet a certain weight threshold to use it and one sausage roll doesn’t make it. I also emailed them as I was confused about the option to use all three cooking modes one after the other when you can’t use the metal rack on microwave but do need it for one of the other ones. I haven’t had a reply, so that’s disappointing. It works excellently as a microwave however. Easy controls and good power at 800W. I don’t regret buying it, but I do wish I had the space for a proper combination oven.

This microwave oven is very good value for money and is very easy to use. It is quite small, but big enough to cook or re-heat food. It has 3 functions – microwave, grill or combination cooking which are very useful. It looks very good too.

Very good little microwave with grill but very small. I ended up giving it to my daughter and buying a bigger one for myself. My own fault, I should have measured the dimentions. Otherwise very good and easy to use.

I bought this item straight from Amazon, without having seen it in real life. I wish I had not bought it, as my previous supermarket microwave which was half the price and made of stainless steel. It looked more expensive.
This microwave is basically a plastic made to look like metal finish. It just was n’t what I expected.
My microwave prominently in my kitchen wall unit cabinet. I did pay a premium to buy the Panasonic, rather then to buy a cheaper brand, so had hoped it would look more expensive.
The microwave has been working well, I can’t complain about its performance.
It has a power output of 800w and a 1000w grill, this microwave oven can handle a variety of cooking tasks. It also comes with 5 power settings and 9 auto programmes, making it easy to cook different types of food. Although, I have n’t even used any of those advanced features.
This microwave oven is its auto defrost function, which makes it easy to defrost frozen food quickly and safely. The turntable ensures even cooking, while the grill adds an extra dimension to your cooking.
I am frustrated by microwave manufactures, they seem to be copying each other. In the past there used to be lots of different microwave sizes. I was always able to buy a microwave, which would fit perfectly into my kitchen cabinet.
It seems microwave manufacturers are standardising on such as 20L. I did want something bigger, but 23L was too big (as my microwave fits into a kitchen cabinet). Also, 20L feels a little too short.
There is a lack of competition. Many of the microwaves, inside seem to look all the same.
I did not another competitor did have a cleaner for food smells.
Overall, the Panasonic NN-K18JMMBPQ Microwave Oven with Grill and Turntable is an easy-to-use appliance that offers a range of useful features.
I just with manufacturers would offer a variety of different microwave sizes…
