For the price I paid, it’s a 5 star from me. It looks stylish, boils as quickly as expected and is fairly easy to read the water gauge.
It is noisy though and would have benefited from a lit water gauge, but it is easier to read than my previous stainless kettle, so that’s a bonus, but in low light conditions it would need a light on to read it.

Loving my new kettle. Sturdy and looks good. White colour doesn’t show the limescale build up (I live in a hard water area) Fast build, what else can I say?

I had read the reviews which said this was a noisy kettle, and it is perhaps the noisiest kettle I have ever owned, but it is not an unpleasant noise. It boils quickly and doesn’t scale up badly despite being used in a hard water area. There is a visible water level gauge, but it starts a bit higher than the single cup level. My only minor concern is the filter, which is fiddly to take out and even fiddlier to put back, but it does its job as a filter so I have no real complaint.

A lovely kettle, very quick to boil, well made, nice materials. Yes, it is a little noisy, aren’t they all? But it is so quick to boil it doesn’t matter.

Pros:
– Boils very quickly, impressively so! A full kettle boils in around one minute.
– Looks stylish.
– Made from stainless steel, not plastic.
– Looks easy to clean.
– Holds a good volume of water at 1.7L.
Cons:
– Quite loud, but this is due to it boiling quickly.
– Volume gauge isn’t the easiest to read, but can be read in decent light.
– Power cord isn’t very long, roughly 30cm.
Overall verdict:
I’m really happy with this kettle. Yes it’s quite loud (hence 4 star rating) but the rapid boiling more than makes up for this concern as the noise is over very quickly. It looks stylish yet simple, and I’m happy to report that the inside is stainless steel, not plastic. Would definitely recommend to others based on my experience so far.

Bought this kettle as I wanted red and unless you were willing to pay £40 + the popular colour seems to be cream , silver, black,blue.
Morphy Richards reputable brand, appreciate not made in uk, is anything? But thought at least good quality control.
As a kettle it does what kettles do and boils water. As previous reviewer said it is noisy. electric kettles have been in existence since 1891. WHY can they not all now been made to quick boil and quietly, you can have either or but not both options.
My issue with this particular kettle is the water level indicator. Why did someone one think it should be unreadable unless you point a torch at it or you have a kitchen with almost surgical lighting. I now use a measuring jug to fill it so I know how much water to put in so I don’t boil for no reason.
We are supposed to be using water and electricity responsibly are we not.
Anyway that’s my moan. Keeping the kettle as it is nice colour and comfortable to pick up

yes had time to give it the works, blinking marvelous, sometimes all the glad rag riches dont mean nothing this kettle is something else. us ladies like a clean cut machine that does the job.
