I bought this to get the best out of my Xbox Series X. It is primarily used for gaming and for that purpose this TV is just amazing. I have not really used it for cinema yet, so cant really comment about that. At the time of writing all the TV apps seem to be there, but I didn’t check in detail. But I expect most people are viewing this for gaming use as that is what it is aimed at.

For gaming this is an amazing TV. The upgrade was extreme for me. Admittedly I was coming from a 5 year old 1080p TV so it was bound to be but the difference is huge. The picture is just gorgeous and the response time for gaming is amazing.

I was a bit worried about the size of the TV for my gaming room but I am sitting about 8 feet away and it is just gorgeous. No noticeable eye strain or anything yet after a few protracted game sessions. I think you could sit a little closer without too much bother, and you could easily sit further away, particularly for cinema use.

Assembling the base is a bit tricky. The instructions are some very simple pictures which don’t really explain what is going on. It took a bit of thought and experimentation but I got there in the end.

This TV supports so much stuff. This is a good thing. But this also means there are a lot of settings to review to get the best out of it. After getting a bit lost I checked out youtube and found loads of useful guides. Using those I was able to tweak the setup and the picture went from awesome to magnificent. It is worth spending 60 minutes updating the settings for your use. It certainly was for gaming anyway.

You can even have different settings on different HDMI outputs. So you can allocate a HDMI for gaming with gaming settings, and a different HDMI for your cinema if you so desired. Clever stuff.

Awesome TV. Cant recommend it enough.

Beautiful telly. The new C1 is around £500 more for a fairly minimal improvement, making the CX a bit of a bargain at the moment. Buy one now before there are none left.

Slightly nerve-racking assembling the screen onto the stand with lots of warnings about potentially cracking the glass. But taking it slowly with plenty of planning it all came together nicely without any problems.

Picture quality is stunning right out of the box. Apps run flawlessly for the most part, although I did need to adjust the lip sync on the YouTube app. I was able to do this without affecting the sync on other services which is great. Sound is good, but a TV of this quality probably deserves a sound bar.

UI is excellent. The magic remote with a cursor projected onto the screen makes filling in log-in data or search terms a doddle. There are voice commands too but I tend not to talk to my technology. The system integrates really well with 3rd party services. There are plenty of I/O options. I can not find any PVR functions, such as being able to rewind live television but we have a Human box for that kind of thing. The kids tell me gaming is awesome in 4k on their Xbox but not something I can really comment on yet.

We are suddenly watching a lot more television since buying this!

This TV is seriously impressive. I wanted a TV that would be great for both movies and playing games. After doing months and months of research all reviews pointed to this TV.
The price was a little off putting initially, but what you get for the money it’s actually understandable.
There is nothing this OLED can’t do. The specs are seriously impressive. As is the sound quality.

For gaming the refresh rate is 120Hz which means you’re future proofing yourself and is perfect for the next-gen consoles, although I’m currently only running a PS4 on it it still looks stunning.

Movies look and sound great. There are lots of different modes to choose from regarding picture and sound quality. For example Filmmaker mode, which is encouraged by nearly all film Directors as must use when watching movies.

The choice of apps for streaming and catch up tv is seriously impressive, can’t think of one that isn’t on there now. Netflix and Prime are literally one click away because of the quick buttons on the remote. Most have a large range of 4K content too so you can really get the full use of the picture quality.

Overall this telly is second to none. It covers everyone’s needs and excels in all categories. Can not recommend enough!
