Terrible. I have often been a jbl enthusiast I owned several sets as I love its one brand that does on ear with ANC which does work quite well. However this model was a joke, if turning the volume much past halfway mid low and high frequencies cause horrible rattling and they are not fit for purpose. The first I bought did it and I thought it a bad one off, so exchanged for another pair which did the same.. steer clear of this model.

I generally go for over-ear headphones, but I’d heard these were very comfortable and so decided to give them a go.
First of all, I would say that the on-ear style took a couple of wears to get used to, but by around session 3/4 it felt very natural and I just forgot about them as I do any other headphones.
In terms of comfort, the headphones are very light and they have a really nice level of cushioning on the ears and on the headband. This lets them sit very comfortably.
I would also just say that I love the blue colour that I picked up. Most headphones are black or white these days and I think the midnight blue is a really good looking colour.
In terms of sound, the headphones really impressed me. I wasn’t sure what to expect with on-ear headphones, but you get just as crisp and clear audio as you would from buds or over-ear headphones. The quality is really excellent, whether listening to podcasts, music or watching a movie.
I’ve connected this to my phone and tablet and even TV and the connection has always been very stable and reliable with no drop outs.
Finally, I’d just say the battery is amazing. Unlike buds that need fairly regular charging, this has 70 hours of battery life, which is just incredible. Even using them an hour or two a day as I do means I’ll only need to charge them once every month or two!

The sound quality from these is wonderful, and the noise cancellation is also excellent too! This combination makes them useful for listening to music casually, trying to look at music deeper as well which I know a lot a people would want to do, and for the price you probably aren’t getting much better than this!

Surprisingly good pair of wireless headphones, on ear design which i was unsure about as since these feature noise cancelling, i felt these are better over ear but does work. I also find on ear are not as comfortable comfortable to wear but these have a good amount of flex so they don’t press on the ears as much as other on ear headphones i have tried. They are adequately sized with a lot of adjustment and nicely padded for extra comfort.
Connected via bluetooth to my devices (apple) without any problem, this was quick and easy but they also come with a separate audio jack auxillary cable so you have the option to use these with a good old fashioned headphone socket. There is an available app with control and sound interface as well as some limited controls on the headset.
Fully rechargeable via USBC, a cable is provided and takes about a couple of hours, the run time on battery life is excellent, lasts for hours at a time and i don’t have to recharge them that often. The headphones fold but i don’t find this particularly neat or compact, although there is a drawstring storage bag provided which is handy.
These do feel a bit pricey at £79.99 (at the time of review) although they are branded and the sound quality and noise cancelling are pretty good. That said these are still a fraction of the price of some higher end headphones and compete pretty well given the value.
