Was disappointed with game. Think it’s more for multi-player. can’t say much for graphics either

Kevin Spink Here are my first impressions, initially was not as impressed with the vr as with other titles like batman vr, the graphics are cartoony and some of them like the water cascading down lack depth. However as you get into the game and start learning to fly with agility it starts getting very addictive, the graphics and depth get better, you start forgetting about it being a game with a Lump of plastic on your head and start getting immersed into it. I found playing standing up added to the overall immersion, but be carefull as I found myself tottering a few times lol. I like the effect that you are looking through an eagles head if that makes sense, very clever outside masking shows your head feathers beak etc all adding to the experience. The only real negative I have is that for some reason random bright green leaves fly past, they do not look real and for me caused some distraction, have played a bit longer they get less noticeable, if anyone can tell me if these can be selected off or what purpose they play that would be great. Overall so far, I think it is a great game, very different, very smooth, easy to learn the moves, challenging enough stages to make you carry on, and all aimed at getting you ready for multiplayer scenarios. I particularly like the open game aspect, using your head, body to manoeuvre, and absolutely no sign of the dreaded motion sickness

Its ok for about an hour or so ….. then you think …. lets step this up a bit and do some multiplayer. Erm nope ….. we managed to get a few games online then i think there was an update for xplatform playing. Now multiplayer doesnt work at all …. you will just sit in a lobby on your own for ages …. and nobody ever joins …… its a crippled game

It’s OK – innovative, and the control method is cool, but the biggest problem (which I didn’t have with other games) is that I have to stop within 5 minutes due to the serious motion sickness I get with this game. A shame, I enjoyed it otherwise.

Beautifully rendered, this is a different game and shouldn’t be compared to other games out there.

It’s inventively made with amazing graphics and some tough challenges. Any motion sickness was faint for me and I usually am quite sensitive to VR games that aren’t so well made. I’ve played the game for almost two hours and it’s fun, even relaxing. Maybe a stress-reliever for some and probably NOT for every gamer out there. I recommend this game for someone looking for something different. Worth a look! And at under 30 quid, it’s not too steep a price, either.
